How to Get Paid to Blog
How do you get paid to blog? There are several different ways.
First, you could get hired by a the owner of a popular blog.
This is perhaps the most difficult way if you do not have a great
resume prepared and some experience in the field.
Fortunately there are some easier ways. They don't require
any investment on your part, nor do they require you to have
a boss. If that sound better already, try one of the following.
Start A Free Blog
At Blogger.com and other sites you can start your own blog
for free on any subject that is of interest to you. Once you
play around with it a bit and start developing some decent content
you can use any of the many free methods available to develop
traffic to it. (The ebook Traffic - 50 Ways To Get It
comes with You Can Make
Money Writing and has more than twenty ways to get visitors
without paying.)
Once you have people visiting your blog you can start to promote
affiliate products. Find relevant ones that pay a decent commission
whenever you send a sale their way. Notice that using this formula
you can go from your first blog post to your first commission
check without spending any money, and you can do it in your spare
time as well.
Get Paid To Blog
There are sometimes blogs that need content and will simply
pay you to post on them. I was recently paid $8 for a post that
took me fifteen minutes to write - and they set the money to
my PayPal account within an hour or two. Using Google or Yahoo
search "paid to post," and "paid to blog"
to find these opportunities.
Get Paid For Creating Blog Posts In Volume
Many website owners want to promote their sites by posting
on blogs with links back to their sites, but they don't have
the time nor desire to write all those posts by themselves. They
pay for help with this. The going rate varies. I have paid $2
per post, which doesn't sound like much, but a quick post of
a 100 to 150 words doesn't take long to produce once you get
used to writing these. This paragraph has 119 words in it. That
should give you an idea of how long a typical post has to be.
You might write 50 or more of such posts daily, and you can bid
on these projects at places like Elance.com.
Getting hired and three other ways to get paid to blog - time
to start blogging. By the way, in my ebook there are several
more ways to make money writing without owning a website. Check
