Internet Marketing Tools
Here are some of the internet marketing tools you may need
to take your business to the next level. Some of these are free
services and websites that you can use. Others are even better:
expensive products that make you money.
HTML Help : Every HTML document contains certain standard
HTML tags. If you don't even know what HTML is (Hyper-Text Markup
Language), start with great tutorials here: www.htmlgoodies.com.
You can also learn by using the view button up on your browser,
while you are at any web page. Click on "source," or
"source code" or "view source." You'll see
the HTML for the page you are viewing. This is a good way to
learn how to code a page for certain effects that you like.
Domain names : On of the best places to check on the
availability of a domain name is www.r4l.com . You can check multiple names at
the same time.
Web site hosting : Hostgator is the service we use
now, and we have been very satisfied. Unlimited sites for a low
price, high speed, and almost no downtime ever. Their plans start
under $10/month. Use the link here: Hostgator.
Affiliate Programs : There are thousands of individual-product
affiliate programs out there, as well as programs that handle
many different products from various websites and companies.
My favorite affiliate program right now is My Help
Hub. Their products convert well, and they track using cookies
and ip address tracking, so you are more certain to get credit
for the customers you send. For the traffic I send to them, I
make more money with these products than with any others I have
tried.
Affiliate guidance : If you want to make money with
affiliate programs, I highly recommend Confessions
of a Lazy Super-Affiliate. I still refer back to this excellent
ebook to learn more ways to increase traffic or boost conversions.
Make Your Site SELL! - This is the book that
got me going online. You can still get a free copy. - Steve
Article Submission Software : Try
this Article Submitter (there's a free version last time
I checked). The truth is that none of these work as promised,
but they may still save enough time to be worth it. We bought
the paid version of this one and although we were disappointed,
I would buy it again because it does save time in the end (once
you get it set up right).
Free content : EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com both have a wide selection of
articles you can use for free for your website.
Auto responder : You'll want this eventually, if you
aren't already using one. There's nothing neater than your newsletter
going out automatically to your subscribers. The best service?
Right here: Aweber
Autoresponders.
Web site testing : To check your pages for free, to
see what HTML mistakes you made, and how fast the page loads,
go to : Net
Mechanic.
Internet Glossary : Not
sure what a term means? Go here.
