A Simple Way to Make Money Online

I am not going to complain about the way I make money online, but it certainly isn't simple. I have something like 40 active websites, several blogs, a dozen e-books for sale, and that's just a start. I have to say that I am happy--very happy-- with the income all of this work produces, but there is also something to be said for simplicity. So let's take a look at a simple way to make money online.

Revenue Sharing Websites

Write articles, send them into a site you set up an account with, and they do the rest of the work. They put them up as pages online, and hang pay-per-click advertising on them, and promote them using their other pages. Once these new pages are found by the search engines and start getting some traffic, the revenue starts coming in fro the clicks--and you get half.

So you just write and make money. That's simple enough, but simple doesn't mean easy, does it? You might need to home your writing skills a bit before you get started. In fact, some of these sites are picky, and will only approve accounts for good writers (which is a good idea after all).

Then there is the amount of the revenue. It is very possible that you will get nothing from a page for weeks, and after that you might average only a dollar or two per page per month. The obvious solution to this problem is to write hundreds of pages--or thousands. Given that I'm going to knock out this page and have it online in about twenty minutes (and I have to do the technical parts of building and uploading the page as well), you might be able to have a thousand pages up in about nine months. That's five articles per day five days per week.

To make money online in this way might almost sound like a job, but there are some important differences. You get to work the hours you like, do it in your sweat pants (that's what I'm wearing now), and write about what you want. Plus, if all goes well, after the work is done the money will keep coming in for years.
