How to Create Money Making Ebooks
Of the many ways to create money making ebooks, one stands
out for being the easiest. In fact, not only can you have a ebook
ready by tomorrow, but you don't even need to have a website
to make money with it. You don't even need to sell a single copy
of it. Let's look at how this works.
Give Away Money Making Ebooks
You might have downloaded a free ebook at some point. There
are online "libraries" where you can chose among hundreds
of them. Why do people give them away? Because somewhere in that
book the reader is invited to visit a website or buy a product.
You can do the same, and it is easier than you might think.
For example, you might write twenty pages on how to make a computer
run faster. If you know enough about this subject, you might
be able to do it right now. Otherwise, an hour or two on the
internet is all it should take to gather enough notes to create
a useful "e-report" or ebook.
You can write it on almost any word processing program and
then find a free service that will convert it into a PDF for
you. Then you give it away as many ways as you can find (more
on that in a moment). How do you make money with it? In the ebook
you have links to a registry cleaning software product or any
other products that are relevant. In those links you have your
affiliate code, so each time a reader goes and buys the product
you get paid a commission.
By the way, I am not suggesting that you create sales pitches
disguised as ebooks. Some authors try that, but people usually
stop reading and delete the file in those cases. Offer the reader
something of real value in the book. Hopefully the products you
recommend will also be of real value to them.
How well does this work? It depends on the products you promote,
the quality of information you offer, and the number of people
you can get to read the book. I recently bought an ebook and
ended up buying three other things through the links in that
book. I figure the author made about $50 in commissions from
me - which would have been good even if I hadn't paid for his
book in the first place.
To get the most readers possible, upload your book to directories
that distribute free ebooks. Find relevant websites and email
the owners to suggest that they can give the ebook to their visitors
as a gift. Do the same with newsletter owners. If you have a
website or blog, or your own newsletter, of course you'll give
the book away there. State in the ebook itself that readers are
free to give copies to friends, or to use as a bonus with products
they sell. Obviously for it to be a money making ebook it helps
to distribute it as widely as possible.
You can do this with almost any topic, by the way, but for
maximum results, you might want to try those that have many ready
buyers. Fortunately others have figured this part out for you.
Just find a hot seller that has an affiliate program and write
something relevant to that product.
For example, suppose you find an ebook on how to make your
own biofuels to run your car on, and it pays a $12 commission
for each sale. You could write a short ebook called "10
Ways To Improve Your Gas Mileage." That's information people
want, and such an ebook is a natural place to introduce readers
to the other ebook that you can make a commission on.
